Lesson series adaptable to one or two semesters (18 or 36 weeks). Individual lessons activities can occur before, during or after class as the teacher needs.

Lessons use the 5E instructional model to help students more easily learn concepts. 5E structure ensures every lesson follows a consistent pattern of instruction.

Lesson activities involve active listening, group discussion, individual writing and team partnerships. Students engage with the Gospel of John in both written and video formats.

Lessons include engaging introductions. Lesson activities progress through the hierarchy of higher order thinking skills. Capstone end-of-unit project cements learning from each lesson into a thematic whole.

Lesson activities offer multiple exposures to scripture. Students are prompted to compare their beliefs against the core spiritual truth of each lesson.

Curriculum uses a mainstream evangelical theological basis. Both the humanity and divinity of Jesus as presented by John are explored.
